Hello hump day! I was on a mission last week to try and get the fall foliage in my shots but there were limited trees... hence why we decided to stand in the middle of the street (lol). Luckily it wasn't a busy time of the day so we had few interruptions but it's a fast road and we definitely had to run back and forth a bit! It was well worth it though because nothing beats this background... I am so in love with all the colors of the leaves right now. They are so beautiful!!

I wanted to share this look with y'all today because these over-the-knee boots are only $36!! They were marked down recently and almost ALL of the sizes are still in available in all three colors. I am snagging the black pair while they are on sale... seriously a must-have!! I've been getting a lot of questions on how comfortable this pair are and whether or not you can wear them for a long period of time. I've worn this almost all day and they have not hurt (at all!). I also love that they don't fall down your leg (there are ties so you can tighten them) because that's the worst with OTK boots

These faux-leather panel leggings have been a staple in my fall wardrobe for a few years, they suck you in in all the right places! I've linked two similar pairs since these aren't sold anymore but they are almost identical. One pair has a smaller panel down the side which I like and may pick up for myself! Stay tuned for some more fall looks headed your way this week... xo!

Hello my loves! I am so happy to share our updating dining room with you today. We didn't have a plan to redecorate this room but when we were out shopping for new plates and glassware, we came across this table for the most amazing price at Home Goods (it was even marked down from the discounted price Home Goods offers!) so we couldn't pass it up. I immediately knew what route we were going to decorate with. Alex and I share the exact same style when it comes to home decor so I'm so lucky that he appreciates rustic pieces with modern accents. It makes styling and redecorating  our place so fun together! We especially can't wait to build a home (which is hopefully happening in the next two years!).

As most of you know, we still live in a small(ish) apartment so we don't have a ton of space. We knew we were planning on hosting a Thanksgiving for all of our friends (y'all know my man and his love for cooking!!) so he wanted to buy all new plates, silverware, place settings & glassware that we could take from our apartment to our future home. We love to host our friends whether it's a brunch, girls night or even just our family over for dinner. He loves to cook and I love to socialize so it's a fun situation for us both! We chose our new plates together and since we love modern pieces, I thought these square plates were perfect for us. We actually bought new glassware (not shown in the photos) for everyday drinking in the tall and short versions. I'll include them below!

I absolutely love rose-gold but Alex is not the biggest fan. We came to a compromise on the napkin ring holders and he said it's a small accent that he was willing to let me have (what a keeper, haha). We plan on getting another bar-cart (our current one is being used for our coffee station) and using that for a true beverage cart for when we have guests over. In the meantime, we have our new wine glasses at each place setting, which I actually love! He has a major love for wine so we also bought a carafe (didn't even know they had a name before all of this, lol) and we just bought another one so there is one for white wines and one for reds.

Once we had our table at home, we both knew we wanted to go for a "farmhouse" feel. My mom helped us choose our metal chairs and we loooove them. They went perfectly with our centerpiece (how cute is this decorated for fall? I'm already scheming on christmas decor for it when the time comes!). If you follow along on Instagram, you know we are looking for the perfect statement chairs to add to either end of our table. We are going with a linen, tufted neutral chair that'll add an element of texture to the room. Our EAT sign is from a few years back and I believe we picked it up at Home Goods if I'm not mistaken. See my IG story today for what we are thinking of adding to this space!

I am linking everything you see below so it's easiest for you to shop! I've also included a lookbook at the end of this post so just click on whatever item you want to shop and it'll take you right to the page. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments and I'll be sure to respond back to you as soon as I can! xo!

You girls know I love fall in Ohio... one of the short list of reasons I can say I truly love it here. This vine wall gives me all the fall feels (y'all are tired of hearing this statement but seriously, this wall...). The colors are just soo beautiful and vibrant! I shot two looks here and had to fight with myself on shooting every single look because I just love the colors in it.

I'm sharing this Vici sweater with you girls today.. it's so fuzzy and warm! It can easily take you into the cooler months with a grey jacket draped over your shoulders. It's very oversized so I'd say size down or go with your true size - don't size up! I'm wearing the small which I normally wear there. It is cropped so if you need to length, go with your true size. I paired it with my James Jeans that are high-waisted so I didn't have any trouble with the length and it definitely makes your waist look smaller which is a huge plus! I love sweaters that hang far from the body for that look.

I hope y'all had a great week and hello to the weekend! We are celebrating our friends wedding tonight and I am so excited for it. Shoutout to Allyssa and Ryan and congratulations on your wedding day!!! It will be a beautiful evening. I think I convinced Alex to agree to go to the pumpkin patch this weekend so it'll definitely be a great weekend in my book. Xo

I am so in love with all of the distressed sweaters lately! I knew this one was going to be a favorite of mine when I spotted it online. It wasn't an "off shoulder" knit but the way it hung on me - it wanted to be! I let it off the shoulder to one side for a more relaxed look than having it stay up on both shoulders. One of my go-to fall looks is definitely the most basic kind. I love a simple pair of denim & booties with a fall sweater. My hat collection of course has to make an appearance basically daily :)

Alex and I have been redecorating our living room space in our apartment and I'm so excited to share with y'all soon! I want to keep incorporating more home decor posts on here with you girls since the majority of you love seeing them. We are planning on hosting some parties/dinners coming up here this month & next month so we needed a refresh. We weren't planning on doing an entire makeover until we came across our new table that we just couldn't pass up. (Home Goods is the best!) I'll be sharing that either this week or early next week. Xox!

SheIn FAQ's:

How is the quality?
I would definitely compare the quality of SheIn items to those at Forever21 and even H&M. You are paying for "fast-fashion" and that's what you are going to get! I tend to spend my money of 'trending' pieces at places like these since they won't always be in style. I definitely splurge more on basics!

Have you ever received a piece that you didn't like? It wasn't what the site said it would be?
I do work with SheIn on a monthly basis and receive a bunch of new items. However, I don't feature all of these pieces; because sometimes they aren't exactly what I thought that they would be. I have never had an item that I "didn't like" - it is mostly issues with sizing (see below) - I've become smarter on what I order; meaning I look into the size chart on every single piece. I don't order things that I think would be a hard material for me to wear or looks cheap. I only feature pieces that I love and that I think you girls will love, too!

How do the sizes range? TTS? Run Small?
On every single item, there are different size charts. I make sure to check with each individual piece just to be safe. The tops I have found run TTS and I order smalls and maybe a medium when I want an oversized feel. The bottoms do run very small and I find myself ordering larges in them since I don't have the smallest hips.

How long does shipping take from when you place your order?
After I place my order it takes around 2-3 days for my pieces to ship (this is from my personal experience, this by no means this is everyones) and from that day I would say it takes 7-10 business days for the pieces to arrive. SheIn did just change "warehouses" (I work with them and speak to a PR person regularly) and since then, my shipments have taken a week to arrive.

Have you ever ordered shoes? Do they run TTS?
I have ordered one or two pairs of shoes and from my experience I would say beware of which shoes you are ordering. I ordered two flats from there and the quality was perfect. I had zero complaints are they were actually dupes of a designer for just $30. I was super happy with the quality of them. The last pair I ordered, I wasn't as happy with but for the price, they were worth it since I won't wear them everyday.

Have you had any issues regarding payment?
I can't answer this one since I do work with them on a monthly basis. Basically I choose pieces that I would like with no guarantees that they will appear on my blog. I have never "paid" on the website since my PR girl sends me over the items but I do have close friends that shop on their frequently ever since I've shown them the site and they can vouch that they have never had issues!

The weekend is finally here! I'd love to say it's as sunny currently as it shows in the above photos but we are having a gloomy, gloomy day here in Cleveland. It was much needed though since we haven't had a good rainfall in about three months... too long! Allergies were acting crazy it seems like for everyone, including our household & our poor pup. So yay for the rain!

I'm sharing a transitional fall look with y'all today and I adore this cold-shoulder dress. I love it paired by itself for a more evening look and maybe some strappy sandals on the warmer nights. It was cooler when we shot these photos so I added one of my favorite scarves that resembles Burberry's famous print (always a classic!). I basically don't go anywhere these days without one of my hats... but that's okay with me! They add a certain element to every outfit that I love.

I hope you girls are having a wonderful start to your weekend! I'm excited for tomorrow morning because we have a local blogger event happening and I get to meet up with some girls in the area. It will be so fun and it's always a plus that my mama is my photographer so she is always my plus one! :) We have too much fun together... haha! Have a great weekend babes!! xo
